We love when a trend is reasonably priced, when it’s something we already have in our wardrobe, something that is comfy, and something that we don’t need to overthink. Something we can just slip and go, something we can wear to fill the car up with petrol, or do the school run in, or slip in our bag to switch into under a fancy dress at a black tie wedding. Something that goes with baggy jeans and a vest, just as well as it goes with denim shorts & a bikini top. With your favourite midi dress for a dinner on the beach on holiday, or to just nip into town on a light, late summer’s evening to meet a friend.
And the best part about this trend is, you can spend £10 and they’ll look just as good as if you spent £100 on them.

Flip flops were made “cool” more recently by The Row, a brand owned by the epitome of cool, the Olsen twins. But at a mere £670 for a pair of flip flops, it probably doesn’t work for everyone! Here is an edit of the best of the rest (and a link to the Row pair in case you want to have a nosey – but surprisingly they are almost sold out!)
