The new season is brimming with brilliant buys that cover all budgets and tastes. From the chic-est deodorant, glow-boosting make-up, game-changing SPF and ground-breaking hair tools, here’s what’s worth spending on this month…from £10 – £499.

Those after a gentler and aluminium-free deodorant will love this from our fragrant favourites at Phlur. It delivers a clean, fresh feel that actually lasts – unlike some natural alternatives we’ve tried. Salicylic acid neutralises any sweat and keeps pores unclogged, while tamanu oil moisturises and softens the delicate area. It’s not cheap at £20, but the chunky stick will last for ages – it’s great for chucking in your travel bag too.
L’OREAL PARIS LUMI LES GLOW STICK
Did you like L’Oreal’s viral Lumi Glotion? If so you’ll love this, nd if not – you need to try both! This new version is a multi-use highlighting stick that melts into skin for a satin-look, high-watt glow adding soft-focus radiance, with no signs of glitter in sight. Golden. Two shades; Golden Couture is a pearly, champagne-gold shade, Glowy Creme Chic is a pearly white gold. Tap onto temples, cheekbones, the bridge of the nose and collar-bone.
CLINIQUE MOISTURE SURGE BODY HYDRATOR
IYKYK when it comes to Clinique Moisture Surge and OG fans of the iconic moisturiser will be thrilled at this new launch from Clinique. Quenching, cooling and quick to absorb, it’s packed full of hyaluronic acid and aloe vera – both of which clear up dryness, reduce inflammation and keep uneven texture at bay. Incredible to use as an after sun in the summer or to calm down heat rash. Keep it in the fridge for extra coolness. Never sticky, you can apply this and go to bed or get dressed straight away.
Dyson’s latest hair drop will have you blown away. Nearly 10 years after the Dyson Supersonic revolutionised the hairdryer, the ‘R’ is set to do it again. 30% smaller and 20% lighter that it’s predecessor, it’s been described as “a magic wand” by stylists (until this week it’s only been available for professional use), due to the combo of ease of use and heat damage control technology. Using new intelligent heating technology along with Dyson’s Hyperdymium motor (also found in the brand’s vacuum cleaners, and clever new radio frequency identification (RFID) sensors, which have been designed to communicate with the hair dryer, the Supersonic R is able to adjust the motor and heater in order to deliver the perfect level of airflow and temperature for a blow-out. Available in two different bundles: straight-wavy and curly-coily,
YSL LOVESHINE PLUMPING LIP OIL GLOSS
These new oil-glosses from YSL give lips a plumped-up, healthy look with a soft, shimmery sheen that catches the light. As they’re oils, they feel good on the lips too – no stickiness – they seal in moisture and stop any dryness or flakes. There’s a shade for every preference, but my favourites are shade Mellow Mallow and Nude Lavalliere.
CLARINS SKIN ILLUSION TINTED MOISTURISER
I’ve been wearing this tinted moisturiser from Clarins nonstop – it has great coverage, just enough for daytime but not so much that your skin feels suffocated, that you can build up. It evens out redness and pigmentation, while hyaluronic acid gives skin with that quenched, dewy look. It does have SPF but tbh it’s only 25 so it’s a good addition but you still need a full SPF layer underneath it. Speaking of…
ULTRA VIOLETTE FUTURE FLUID SPF50+
When it comes to SPF, Ultra Violette can do no wrong. It’s latest is a mineral formula, Mineral formulas are specifically good for those with sensitive skin and perioral dermatitis. People used to worry about mineral SPF’s feeling and looking chalky, but this uses an innovative zinc from Japan, with a superlight, gentle and no-feel texture. It also contains vitamin E and squalane to help hydrate the skin, niacinamide to help balance oil production and improve skin texture and vitamin C to brighten and minimise the look of dark spots.
