For a super-speedy, natural looking glowy, sun-kissed look your bronzer should come in liquid form.
Bronzy, sun-kissed skin is a look that’s always in, regardless of the season. But come summertime, we find ourselves gravitating towards this effortless, beach-babe-esque beauty look more than ever. It goes without saying that we LOVE all kinds of bronzers – nothing does a better job at making our poor sleep-deprived faces look a little more alive and awake – but lately we’ve been especially smitten with glow-givers in liquid form, especially since the temperatures have soared. Powders can often feel a little heavy and matte for holidays and hot weather, while gels or creams add a glow and feel light and smooth on the skin. Whether you’re off on your summer holidays (jealous) or are hanging around in the UK’s mini heatwave for the rest of the summer, try one of these instant glowtions (that’s a glow-giving lotion).
There are two ways you can use a liquid bronzer:
– Squeeze a small amount of the liquid onto the back of your hand and then dab it onto the areas where the sun would naturally bronze—the tops of cheekbones, hairline, etc. Then use a fluffy brush and buff it into your skin while blending out into a natural finish. This diffuses and blends the product so that it doesn’t look streaky. Try Real Techniques Stippling Brush, £11.99.
-Add a drop or two to your foundation during the summer when you naturally are bit more tanned—it’ll add warmth to your complexion and save you the trouble of buying a whole new foundation.
