We’re sure if you’re reading this that you are well aware that we met on Instagram. Gemma didn’t do NTC and Sam didn’t really meet anyone she had much in common with. When our babes were about 6 (Belle) and 8 months (Leo) we got chatting on Instagram and TIM was born.
With that in mind, we wanted to connect with some more like-minded mums that we’d met over Instagram so last night we hosted a dinner alongside Revlon to celebrate the launch of their latest range, YouthFX by inviting some mums for a special dinner. We chatted away over roast chicken and chocolate mousse (the preggos had a fruit platter…) at the Ivy Market Grill in Covent Garden . It’s always nice to meet people you know from the online world in real life and we urge you to do the same. A coffee at Costa will do the job perfectly well.

{Table setting of dreams! How cute are our balloons from Bubblegum Balloons?!}

YouthFX is a capsule collection of two primers, a concealer and a foundation that has been designed to take you from dressing table to dressing gown. It literally stays put all day. Just what working mums need, right?
As I’m sure most of you regular followers will know, Sam found out she was pregnant with Leo when she was 2 weeks pregnant because she tried to go for 30th birthday Botox and they asked her the date of her last period. Lol. Obviously she never got it. For those in a similar boat, or who aren’t that brave/into it, the YouthFX Forehead Primer is what she calls ‘Botox in a bottle,’ it looks a bit like nail polish, applies a little like pva glue but blurs and fills those pesky forehead lines pre-foundation for a smoother look.

Meanwhile Gemma is totally sold on the Youth Fx Fill and Blur Concealer which helps to brighten as well as conceal the dark shadows which we all have.

All in all it was a really fun night. Great to meet some new, like-minded mums and mums-to-be that we’ve insta-stalked for quite some time like Susie Verill, Anneli Bush, Binky Felsted, Frankie Bridge, Pascale from Style Mumand Michelle Kennedy who foundedPeanut.
