This subject comes up a lot in our DM’s. Whether it’s a family trip in the school holidays, a girly weekend or a romantic night away you want to know where to stay. So we thought we’d pull together a blog post with our favourites – for each area of London – so you can refer back whenever you need to, whatever occasion you’re planning.

THE HARI HOTEL

Cool and quirky, yet super luxe, the Hari is the friendliest hotel situated in the heart of Belgravia. Discreet and perfectly placed between Hyde Park, Knightsbridge and Sloane Square, a stones throw from Sloane Street, it makes it the ideal location for high end shopping at Harrods and Harvey Nichols, eating at Mr Chow or taking in some culture at the V&A or Saatchi. Close to Anya Hindmarch cafe for a coffee and cake, super-salon Neville’s is right next door for blowdries or mani’s.

The rooms: Beautiful with a slightly masculine vibe, the bathrooms are what do it for us here. Huge marble tubs nestled into a picture window with breathtaking views.

The food: If you tire of the hundreds of high end restaurants on your doorstep, The Hari has a beautiful signature Italian restaurant.

The vibe: best suited to adults rather than families. Ideal for a girly shopping weekend.

THE MARYLEBONE HOTEL

Central London’s best kept secret. The Marylebone is a jewel in the crown, hidden away behind Marylebone High Street, in the heart of Marylebone Village, the hotel is a hop, skip and a jump to Selfridges, five minutes away from Oxford Circus and Bond Street Tube. The jolly doorman is one of the friendliest we have ever encountered in London. Guests are given access to the Third Space gym next door, which has an 18m swimming pool.

The rooms: Luxe without being intimidating. Lots of soft furnishings in jewel toned colours. Squishy, comfy beds and sofa’s.

The food: There are so many options around here, but if you’re staying put in the hotel you won’t be disappointed. Four restaurants include the signature restaurant 108 Brasserie, the 108 bar, 108 Pantry and the lobby bar and roof top bar.

The vibe: a super friendly, welcoming home from home vibe. Children are welcome, under 5’s eat free. A family package includes tickets to ZSL London Zoo.

THE ROSEWOOD

Moments from Covent Garden and theatre-land sits the most elegant hotel in London. The epitome of luxury, you enter via a passage leading into a little courtyard; rather like entering into another, much calmer, world. Despite the effortless elegance, the place doesn’t take itself too seriously, with cages of fake birds and models of a bulldog and bear by the lifts.

The rooms: all are spacious in a soothing palette of off-whites, stones, greys and taupe. Big marble bathrooms have lots of mirrored surfaces.

The food: Various options all as different yet delicious as the other. The stunning Mirror Room is the place for high tea, the brasserie-esque Holborn Dining Room offers the most delicious burger, the famous Pie Room, well, you can work it out. Afterwards wander into the popular Scarfe’s cocktail bar for a night cap.

The vibe: 100% stunning makes it the one for the romantic getaway. Perfect for proposals. We’ve spotted Justin & Hayley Bieber on a romantic getaway.
